From Regimental Sergeant Major to Oxford Physicist

An early start on results day was well worth it for Jonathan, who achieved an outstanding four A*s and secured his place at Exeter College, Oxford, to study a four-year Physics degree.

Jonathan is looking forward to taking his passion for Physics to the next level at university but will certainly miss his friends and his time in the CCF. During his time at 蘑菇视频入口, Jonathan rose to the position of Regimental Sergeant Major, taking on a significant leadership role alongside his academic studies.

Looking back at his time at 蘑菇视频入口, Jonathan says, 鈥淎ll of the teachers say that as you go up through the years, school gets better and better, and that has been the case for me. Sixth Form has been the highlight of my time here at 蘑菇视频入口.鈥�

 

From Wright Society Co-Chair to UCL Medicine

Maya P, Co-Chair of 蘑菇视频入口’s Wright Society, is heading to UCL to study Medicine after achieving an incredible 3 A*s and an A.

For Maya, these results mean she can take the next step towards her dream of becoming a doctor, something she has worked incredibly hard towards. She said: 鈥淚鈥檓 so excited for the whole university experience and that I get to study medicine. I鈥檝e wanted this for so long and I鈥檓 so pleased it is all coming true.鈥�

Maya has also played an important role as Co-Chair of the Wright Society, 蘑菇视频入口’s society for pupils aspiring to pursue a career in medicine.

鈥淭he guidance and support we were given as part of the Wright Society was invaluable. It was also great being able to inspire younger members.鈥�

As Maya gets ready to start this exciting new chapter, she is also reflecting on her time at 蘑菇视频入口.

Impressive Results Secure Imperial for Head of School Mathilde

Head of School Mathilde was thrilled to achieve a remarkable 4 A* grades, securing herself a place to study Physics at the prestigious Imperial College London.

Having moved up from Oakhyrst Grange School, Mathilde was a truly integrated member of the 蘑菇视频入口 community. Alongside her academic achievements, she was also a remarkable violinist, bringing her talents to school life beyond the classroom.

Reflecting on her time at 蘑菇视频入口, Mathilde said: 鈥溎⒐绞悠等肟� has been amazing and has really prepared us for the future. It has genuinely shaped me into the person I am today. I鈥檝e grown so much here and I鈥檓 ready and excited to take the next step up.鈥�

Lacrosse Captain is off ‘Around the World’听

There was an incredible buzz as Head of School and Lacrosse Captain Izzy received her results, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

After her time at 蘑菇视频入口, Izzy will be setting off on an adventure of her own, taking a year to travel the world with friends before heading to the University of York to study TV Production.

Izzy is particularly looking forward to university life and meeting new people who share her passion for television and production. With a clear sense of excitement about the future, she is eager to discover where her course, and university experience, will take her.

A keen hocky and lacrosse player, Izzy says leaving 蘑菇视频入口 will be bittersweet.

鈥淚 will really miss the community here at 蘑菇视频入口, especially within the sports teams, although I also can鈥檛 wait to compete against my friends attending different universities.鈥�

Her time at 蘑菇视频入口 has been about much more than academic achievement. Izzy has embraced the opportunities available to her, throwing herself into school life and making the most of everything 蘑菇视频入口 has to offer.

鈥淚 have loved the opportunities available here and getting involved in everything that 蘑菇视频入口 has to offer. I鈥檝e learnt so much about myself through the work in my subjects and sports teams.鈥�

 

Head of Beech Hanger will be in the History Books听

Kate is celebrating her A Level success and looking forward to the next chapter as she heads to UCL to study History.

Having joined 蘑菇视频入口 in Third Year, Kate has made the most of her time at the school, particularly through her experience of boarding and her role as Head of Beech Hanger.

鈥淲hat I鈥檝e loved most is the friends I鈥檝e made and the support within the school. There鈥檚 such a great network here.鈥�

Boarding has been a particularly important part of Kate鈥檚 蘑菇视频入口 experience, giving her a strong sense of community and lasting friendships.

As Kate looks ahead to her next chapter, she leaves 蘑菇视频入口 with lasting friendships and happy memories of a school community that has played an important part in her journey.

 

Raya Finds His Path to Oxford

Raya is celebrating after securing his place at Oriel College, Oxford, where he will study Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). He is one of 11 蘑菇视频入口 pupils accepted to Oxford or Cambridge this year.

After the nerves of the morning disappeared, Raya was delighted to receive the news. He said: 鈥淚鈥檓 really excited to get started and meet my new professors.鈥�

Looking back on his time at 蘑菇视频入口, Raya says he will miss the teachers, who have all been 鈥渟o amazing and approachable鈥�. He added: 鈥淚t鈥檚 meant a lot to be here, the friends I鈥檝e made and the experiences I鈥檝e had. It鈥檚 a great school, I wouldn鈥檛 choose anywhere else.鈥�

His advice to other pupils is simple: 鈥淔ollow your dreams and don鈥檛 be scared.鈥�

 

 

Charlie is off to Tread the Boards

Delighted with his A Level results, Charlie is off to the Oxford School of Drama in September and he鈥檚 ready听to be challenged and to develop as an actor.

Having joined 蘑菇视频入口 Prep at just three years old, Charlie has been part of the 蘑菇视频入口 community ever since and says it feels like family, having grown up here. He reflects fondly on his time, adding: 鈥淚 will miss my teachers and their ongoing support throughout my journey, and I am especially grateful for all their support in sixth form with my decision to pursue my passion.鈥澨�

It will be a busy autumn for Charlie, as he was accepted into the highly competitive National Youth Theatre and will also be attending membership courses.

His advice for younger pupils? 鈥淒on鈥檛 settle for what you think is safe. You only live once, so make the most of it.鈥�

 

Alex G Sets Sights on Manchester

Alex is celebrating after achieving straight A*s across all his subjects, securing his place at the University of Manchester to study Physics.

He said: 鈥淚 can鈥檛 wait to get stuck into university life, explore a new city, meet new people and just set off on a new adventure.鈥�

Reflecting on his time at 蘑菇视频入口, which he joined from The Hawthorns, Alex added: 鈥淚 will certainly miss some of my teachers. My time here has been invaluable and we鈥檝e had so many opportunities.鈥�

His advice to younger pupils is simple: 鈥淭ake every opportunity you can. You鈥檒l never regret the skills you learn along the way. It鈥檚 what makes you an interesting person.鈥�
